1.Wrexham's Old Town Hall was sited in High Street Next to Burton's , it was demolished in 1939/40.

  2. The War Memorial Hospital ,now Yale College was officially opened in 1926.

The War Memorial Building is now a public Gallery - The Memorial Gallery,
which is part of Yale College of Wrexham, shows a changing programme of
art and craft exhibitions, admission is
" free ", Open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.


 
  3.Wrexham had a prison, called The Bridewell Prison, it was situated in Tenters Square.

 
  4. Elihu Yale, who founded Yale University is buried in the St Giles Church grounds.
